A requirement of the British Compressed Gas Association Code of Practice CP7 is that pressure regulators should be inspected annually by a person with sufficient technical competence. It also states that pressure regulators should be serviced every 5 years or to manufacturer/supplier recommendations. From our experience, many organisations do not comply with this Code of Practice, and many do not have accurate inventories of their regulators.
